Maybe JD can help me out here, but are the Devils' goalies in the farm even ready to be anything other than a backup with the big club? If they aren't, then the Devils would have to get goalie(s) via free agency or trade. It makes perfect sense to me for the Devils to re-sign Marty Moose.

Wedgewood/Frazee are maybes at best. Kinkaid is the sleeper. But they just signed him out of High School last year so he's a project. Think one of the 3 could be a decent backup at this point, but by bringing back Marty Moose they get more time(barring injuries) to play/develop. I kind of figured Salvador would re-up. More loyalty work on Lou's part. That extra year is gonna bite us in the ass, but Bryce has been a true Devil so...

Dunno, somehow i don't think Parise makes his decision today.
