Dave Hodge got in a little trouble today, he tweeted about TT's 3 kids all having names that started with K.

I don't think being at the White House would have put him in any sort of moral or physical danger.
If the Canucks make it to the SCF this year vs Boston, I assume we'll be inviting Obama to drop a ceremonial puck every home game.

I'm not sure why you think I consider his move cowardly....

    Tool-esque, yes. Cowardly, no.

Coward - because he won't face those he disagrees with. Instead he hides in his hotel room and posts on facebook.

    Although #2 is kinda funny.
Exactly. The statement he made was disingenuous.

I don't think I'd do the same thing although I think it's fine TT did what he did. I didn't like GWB at all but I'd still go meet him if I had a chance to do so. No problem.

He made a statement and got people talking about it. That to me seems to be his intent and it was a success. I have more respect for Tim Thomas than I ever have before. To attend and voice displeasure would be much more disrespectful to the office. I think he did the right thing for his beliefs and I fully support his actions...Including beating the Canucks.

It's funny to read how some supporters of the douchebag in chief are so appalled at this. Guess what people, there are politics outside of California.

That's just stupid. I'm not saying you're stupid, but that statement is completely moronic. You imply that you can't see that he was making a political statement. You're smarter than that.
