He made a statement and got people talking about it. That to me seems to be his intent and it was a success. I have more respect for Tim Thomas than I ever have before. To attend and voice displeasure would be much more disrespectful to the office. I think he did the right thing for his beliefs and I fully support his actions...Including beating the Canucks.

It's funny to read how some supporters of the douchebag in chief are so appalled at this. Guess what people, there are politics outside of California.
