The Kings did beat the sucks in the 6 head to head games played this season, although by the slightest margin.

The nuggets you suggest are more from a cheap shot, thug like intimidation style of play that the not so physical, more skilled Red Wings over came and conquered.

I used to have more respect for Scott Neidermeyer as a NJ Devil than allmost any other player in the league, classy, skilled, great wheels and played with class, Yzerman like, now he is just a piece of **** like the rest of the quaks.

The bottom line is how you finish the season. Yes the Kings beat the Ducks more, however, where did the Kings finish and where did the Ducks finish?

All I have been hearing from the Kings fans is that they hope the Kings make the playoffs. What you hear from the Ducks fans is I hope we win the Cup. Making the playoffs means nothing to them. More Kings fans spend more energy on beating the Ducks rather than winning games. This is the same scenario you here from UCLA fans, "as long as we beat USC then the season will be a successful one". On the other hand the Trojan fans are saying "we have to win the National Championship every year or the Rose Bowl to have a successful season".

All I know is that the Ducks had a great chance this year to do something and failed. The Kings had no chance and did not even have a chance to fail. The Kings will not be a contender for some time even if they make the playoffs in the coming years. The Ducks are contenders each year.

Teams fear the Ducks, they have no fear of the Kings and that is just reality. I personally do not care if the Kings ever beat the Ducks in the regualar season as long as they have a chance to win the cup. The Ducks are a very good team and the Kings are just looking up to them. In just a short period of time the Ducks went from a expansion team to a Cup winner and the Kings are now the little brother. The Ducks may play a little rough, however, they are winners. The RedWings beat them, however, they were playing an eight seed that should not have any chance of winning. Personally I was not on the ice when the raccous took place so I have no comment on what Neidermeyer did. In the heat of the battle you never no what was said or what really happened. We all know the Ducks are better and will be better than the Kings for sometime and I am jealous about that. Your only as good as your last game and the Kings last game was sometime in early April. The Ducks last game was last night.

doesn't matter how good a team is, how bad a team is, which team had a better record or which team played later. If you lose, you're in last place just like the Kings and Tampa Bay.

You are right and Ricky Bobby said it. So as a Kings fan, I hope they do not make the playoffs until they are ready to win the cup. I don't want them to have the attitude as long as we make the playoffs then the fans are happy. Win the cup and you will make the Kings fans nuts.

****, they allready think the fans are fine with the status quo, they keep showing up and the Kings haven't made the playoffs since Deader was a King, and that is becoming a long time ago.
