Yep that's the line im thinking we see. Who plays the off wing Higgins or booth? I'm sad to see samuelsson go but I'll take that trade. They needed something to stop the helicopter nonsense

I like the trade for Vancouver, but would love to see Lombardi pursue Turris, myself. I've always been a fan of Kyle Turris and it'd be great to see him develop in the Kings' system. I wouldn't pay too much for him but a package deal involving Alec Martinez would be fine with me once Doughty returns.

Thetis just doesn't strike me as a DL kinda guy...

As for the Florida trade, I am still scratching me head. Is cap space all their primary goal? Doesn't really make sense to me, I have to think their could have been a better play, especially because Tallon would not trade Booth last year.

The heavy speculation right now in Van is that Tanev, (who apparently has a maintenace day today w/ the Wolves), may be part of a trade to Phoenix for Turris.

Turris is a flop at this point.

Something has to be up with Booth as well. I get that Florida wanted to offload salary, and that Sammy and Sturm are tradeable at the deadline for picks and prospects, but with that cap hit, why couldn't they get a bigger return?
