He's young. People are sometimes too quick to throw 'bust' and 'flop' labels around.
I hardly think his career has plateaued yet. He will likely still develop further.
However, my point was that there were signs, (in the playoffs), that he may be turning his game around. (Even though it is a small sample size.)
The one concern I have with Turris are the recent reports and characterizations from the media that he may be a bit of a prima donna, much like how Drew Doughty was portrayed during his holdout. Again, like Drew, his contract demands seem unreasonable given his career production thus far but supposedly he's trying to leverage his way out of Phoenix under Dave Tippett, which is another discouraging sign. My ideal vision is having him seasoned a little more in Manchester under our system but the kid sounds like he thinks he's ready now for the big show and is throwing a bit of a tantrum. If true, I must say that it's disappointing based on my previous opinion of him.
As opposed to continually making trades and going nowhere for 40 years....LIKE the Kings?
It's not a waste if you do it right. A lot of teams have just the past 10 years: Pitts, Wash, Chicago, LA. You have to have an owner who will put up with it and a GM who knows what they are doing. Most of the time it works...the problems happen when they give up half way through usually brought on from pressure of the fans, which is why the Rangers and Leafs are never able to do it.

Can't really say if Booth is a bust or a flop. Jeebus H Craig Cwise, he plays for the frikkin panthers.
