It is over, it is time to move on. I have been reading so much about him on LGK it is like he did something personally to some of you. He plays hockey, he did not commit a crime. His play on the ice or his actions has not effected my life in any way.

The fact that he is the captain of the Sharks has not changed the way I look at things or what I am going to do tomorrow.

I'm in the bay area today and I have to say Shark fan is psyched for Captain Flake.

Like him or hate him, Avery was a minuscule blip in kings history. Blake, on the other hand, proved to be a selfish prick over and over again.

Just watching the Col-SJ highlights on tsn. They show Blake getting robbed and then they show him and I see a "C" on his chest. Surely, nobody around here knew this or there would have been a giant thread about it.

Anyway, if anyone was worried about the whether or not the Sharks will blow it again this year, fret not...

Cut the balls off one of your best players? (Marleau) Check.

Overrated goalie? Check.

Bring in disruptive malcontent, who demanded to be traded? Check

And finally.... Name a selfish, over the hill player, who (as we all know) has a troubled history with captaincy as your new captain..... BIG CHECK

Actually it already has been mentioned in another thread. This is an LA Kings forum though so no one needed to make a thread dedicated to it. But check the posts first and you would have seen this.
