The San Jose Sharks have named Rob Blake as their captain for the coming season. Joining Blake in official leadership roles are alternate captains Joe Thornton and Dan Boyle.

I don't know what to think of this, other than I hope Blake is a miserable failure.
On a serious note, how does a Captain fail? These players are all professionals so when your team does not win the Cup do 29 other Captains fail?
He is the leader, however he is not the coach. When a team like San Jose does not win, I will not blame Rob Blake, I would blame all of the players.
With the talent this team has it would again be a huge failure if they do not win the cup this year.
Since most of LGK dislikes Rob Blake it looks like the Karma may backfire and they do win the cup. I hope not but this team again has enough to do it.
