Konopka could have been a good fit for the Kings especially at that price.

Surprising that Bergfors is bouncing around so much...think he will fit in nice in Nashville.

I am very skeptical about Konopka. A guy rejected by a terrible Islanders team and before that a terrible Lightning team. Yes he's willing to fight and yes he can win faceoffs but he seems about as effective as Ivanans when it comes to actually doing something with the puck.

I'd like our fourth line to chip in a goal here and there. Pair Konopka with Westgarth and our fourth line will be lucky to get ten goals all season.

I would've liked Simon Gagne 4 years ago or better yet in 1998 when the Kings went for some behemoth named Mathieu Biron. If Gagne can regain his scoring touch and stay injury free we might have a good top 6 forward to compliment the rest of the core. Anyways I have always liked Nic Bergfors. He spent way too many years in the minors when he should've played in Sweden 2-3 years instead of the AHL. He might just turn into a 20-25 goal scorer yet!!!

PS Long term you have to think the Kings hope Clifford develops quickly to take one of the top 2 LWing positions in the not-too-distant-future!!!
