Good?
Not sure how to feel about this. I honestly think it is inevitable that Arizona will lose the NHL, but since it is my closest arena right now. I am happy to get to see some King games next year without flying anywhere.
I just wish this saga would end. That is all.
Great...
... except the NHL STILL owns the team. You would think they'd have a buyer in place by now, but what owner is going to buy a team that may only be there a year?

The Los Angeles Kings - 2012 Stanley Cup Champions
Gotta love the absurdity of it all. I'm sure the third year of this hanging over the teams head will do wonders for free agency, coaching, players, morale. Why would it be a distraction again? Sometimes I think the NHL is run by those monkeys in the careerbuilders commercials.
Not to mention the fans who feel like battered spouses at this point. While I want to see the team stay in Phoenix, I think this is a mistake. Another year of uncertainty is only going to lead to another year of lukewarm fan support. The situation needs some finality, either way, for this organization to be able to move forward. I feel like this is only delaying the inevitable for 12 more months.
The team may be there next year, but I doubt Bryzgalov will be. Without him the team will be giving up goals like it's the 1980's all over again. With the turmoil and subsequent lack of results, the fans will stay away in droves. The situation will only get worse. The amount of "egg" on the League's face will grow until it is absurdly obvious (as if it isn't already) that this team is just not going to succeed in that market, in that arena, at this time.
