Thread: Did Dean try to acquire Brad Richards rights ?

What does this tweet from Darren Dreger mean, is he trying to say Dean maybe tried to acquire Brad Richards rights like he did with Hossa and whoever else.



@steinig38. Can't confirm the Sabres attempt, but I'm told the LA Kings tried...prior to M.Richards trade.

So what is Brad Richards looking for in a new home?
"A hockey market with the opportunity to win would be the top two criteria," said his agent Pat Morris.

What does that mean specifically? Not really sure. The only thing I'll say is that I guess he's going to Detroit if that's what he's looking for. Here's betting that he'll bend on those things.
