Congrats, Wile E.! Doaner doesn't need to go anywhere else. PHX would be lost without him.
I'm not sure Phoenix is too concerned with the cap hit, they probably would have been happy to sign him longer just to have the cap hit for future years when he is sure not to play
This was pretty much a done deal about a month ago when he was worried about getting his kids in a new school. This was his largest concern and after he did not sign in early August it was a done deal he was staying in Phoenix. School starts in late August in Phoenix.
