One of my favorite players, sad to see him go, but wishing him the best of luck in all his future endeavors!
Good riddance.
No on the hall of fame, I knew this was coming though. A very admirable player for a long time.

Draper, like Dan Cleary after him in Detroit, is one of those guys that willingly changed his game to fit into the kind of role that earned him a fulltime job in the NHL.
He is crazy respected, and deserves it all. It's actually kind of shocking that you don't see more marginally talented "skill" players go in that same direction when you have such outstanding role models like Draper.

Wow. First Rafalski, then Osgood, now Draper. The Red Wings old guard sure is changing.
