But will remain the VP of Hockey Operations. Dreger says Brendan Shanahan is his likely replacement.

It would be nice to see some consistency when it comes to supplemental discipline, but I won't hold my breath.

Just FYI, Mike Murphy in charge of disciplinary matters relating to this Cup final. Shanahan role as disciplinarian takes effect after that.

with as systematic as shanny is, I can't imagine he won't at least attempt to make some serious guidelines that can be interpreted available.

When Campbell first took over for Brian Burke, the same things were said and for a while, people were actually happy with Campbell.

I'm actually glad about this though, cause that was the common refrain 'Oh the Bruins don't get **** because Greg's dad is the call guy' despite the fact that for that very reason he wasn't allowed to rule on Bruins games. Now they have one less layer of cover for flopping about.
