I'd almost be more shocked to find out that it wasn't true. In fact... now that I've heard it as a rumor I'm almost shocked it didn't happen.

A team trading their entire draft on a prospect? Just does not seem feasible that a team would offer that and that a team would turn it down.

The Jackets also fired four amateur scouts right after the draft. Amazing.

Never underestimate how stupid the Blow Jackets are. Howson fires the only decent coach they had in Hitchcock, signs guys for way above market value (Commodore, Wisniewski) and is shocked at how putrid they are?
