It still would be way too early to judge the trade. That's going to be a trade that needs a couple of years before you can look back and say who's the winner. A top 5 pick looks nice but they don't always develop the way people expect.Quote:

Overrated players are destined for Toronto - it's the only way they can justify their free agent signings most of the time. Everyone wants to play in Toronto, they say, but truly, they have to overpay like a lot of places since their structure sucks the big one. You should have heard the predictions with a defense anchored by Kaberle, Shenn, Komisarek, Beauchemin, would they EVER allow a goal against all season? Toskala was obviously hurt last year - he couldn't be THAT bad, could he? Then they sign the Monster, because of course, he only wanted to play for Toronto - and out of the goodness of their hearts they overpaid for him.Quote:
