Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ffffff... why did the ref blow the whistle?!
If Tampa Bay wants to waste an entire period by letting the Flyers stand there with the puck then so be it!
Flyers being douchebags, what's new?

Yeah...why DID the ref blow the whistle?
I like it, I think it is hilarious.
I like close checking games and hard fought wins, but I also like to see the creative players rewarded for what they bring to the game.
If a team has to resort to playing a constant lockdown D with no forecheck, maybe we have diluted the talent pool and fewer teams are in order?
Either that, or the league should do something so that such dull tactics are not rewarded.
BTW, I had to work late. . . what was the Tampa fan reaction to it?
I guess hockey opps called and told the refs to "not interfere with coaching tactics." I think in the second period Tampa started going after the puck......... Tampa won in overtime.
Why should TB abandon their system? That's what you call discipline. The onus is on the attacking team to figure out how to get past the 1-3-1 neutral zone trap. The fact Philly didn't even want to try to advance the puck was pretty much a bitch move. I don't really get how this is Philly "trolling" - it's more like Philly showing they couldn't figure out how to adjust. They also lost in overtime, so way to go Lightning.
A team with St. Louis, Lecavalier, and Stamkos is far from being diluted talent-wise. TB is missing some key defensive players so it's more so the Lightning just playing a more cautious system. And it's not like this is anything new, they employed it last season into their playoff run. Tampa fans were heavily booing, mainly due to the Flyers refusing to advance the puck past their own defensive blue line. It may be a "dull tactic", but it's a legal tactic. Not really sure wtf the Flyers were thinking.
