I don't think he really fills a need for them. They cycle the puck and retain it in the offensive zone well enough, most of the time, but desperately lack a finisher. He lacks the work rate of a Smithson, Spaling or Tootoo to fit in with their bottom 6. In all likelihood, he would end up like Dumont, a player who hasn't really done much wrong, but just doesn't fill any role well enough for them to stay in the lineup.

Sorry buddy, I've moved past Frolov, maybe you should too. But even you, the most die hard Frolov supporter must admit that his stint in NYC [before injury] was less than stellar and on par with what many have been saying for years.

I can think of many other former Kings playing on other teams who I would rather have back before Frolov....one is actually a current teammate of his.

Avery FTW. He might have a jaw you want to slap shut, but he'd work a lot harder than Penner ever has for us.
