Great Article By Ken Dryden On Concussions & Bettman

Not sure if this belongs here or in the NHL forum, but what the hell.

I know that Bettman is our favorite whipping boy for all the ills of the NHL, but in here Dryden seems to make a case for him being a pretty good Commissioner and urges him to get aggressive on doing something about all the concussions in the NHL right now.

"Of all the NHL presidents or commissioners I've seen or dealt with, as a fan, a player, an administrator, and a fan again — Clarence Campbell, John Ziegler, and (briefly) Gil Stein — Gary Bettman is easily the best."

Well yeah, agree with you there. Sometimes players turn their backs to draw such penalties and that is an exception. Also when a hit with a shoulder is miss-called as a hit to the head. Gotcha Lappy

And, the day someone gets suspended for giving out a well deserved punch in the face, is the day I head out to give the commissioner a concussion of his own.
