Thread: HBO - "NHL 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the NHL Winter Classic"

Fleury was my favorite, the guy is the funniest person the NHL, I hope we get to see more of his and Talbot's antics. I must say, the Washington side of things was pretty boring (maybe because they were losing), but the Pittsburgh parts where far more intriguing.

Wow, I love the cussing. Cussing you will never hear on FSN, VS, or NHL Network. Thank you, HBO!

The moving the furniture gag was gold! That was such a great show!

It's too bad they started filming during Pittsburgh's hot streak and Washington's losing streak. It makes the upcoming match up between them seem so one-sided. It's also too bad it's about the Winter classic. Hard to be hyped over that. I'm hoping the show gets positive reviews and eventually leads to filming around playoff time instead.

I can't imagine Terry Murray ever being that upset in the locker room.

While I think the motive behind the show is somewhat pointless (meaning that the previous 24/7's are the build up and training towards a big fight, this is supposed to be the build up to a big game but is really following the players on everyday life since as big as the Winter Classic is, it's still only one game out of 82 in the schedule, know what I mean?) I still thought the show was pretty awesome. I love behind the scenes type stuff. Seeing a meeting between Bylsma and Shero was pretty interesting and seeing the guys on the plane and playing pranks on the rookies was pretty amusing.
