Looks like the Isle is getting a new home in Brooklyn for 2015. The Brooklyn Islanders? hmmmm......

Word has it, they are bringing this guy in to center the 4th Line.

I'm glad they are staying in NY. It's only about 20 miles from their old digs. It's probably a shorter distance than the Kings moved....

The Forum and Staples are actually less than 10 miles apart...just seems like further because it takes about an hour to get from one to the other in traffic.

Barclay Center looks nice, but they also chose not to design it with hockey in mind, so the corners at one end will have some bad sight lines. Also, it will have the smallest seating capacity in the NHL at 14,500.

I'm assuming with a three year cushion, they will spend the summers renovating the place. Otherwise I don't see how 14,500 seats is a smart move.
