I have a question which I can't seem to find the answer to. Can any obliging LGKer help me out with this please? If a team in the NHL has their starter go off injured and the back up leaves his crease to fight during the same game does he get a pass with regards to getting ejected?
do goalies ever serve their own penalities except for a game misconduct (and/or possibly a major)?
Well I thought a goalie leaving his crease to fight was a game misconduct? The issue is what if the other goalie is unable to play due to injury? I am guessing he can't be thrown out of the game then, but what penalty would the team/player have to serve?Quote:
