That goal was pretty and he had a great night.
Fill me in on his "pace" in three months.

Kids a goal scorer all right. At least 2 of his goals were a direct result of him trailing the play back and cherry picking the d line due to turnovers. We'll see how long that lasts, but when given a chance he's finishing.

I just realized the entire Kings hockey team is outscoring Hertle by one goal.

I hate how the Rangers come in to LA and only give up 1 goal, but they go play Phoenix and San Jose and give up 15. Can't wait to see how badly they lose to the Ducks.

At least we know one thing for a fact, in three months he will have more goals than any member of the Kings and quite possibly more than the entire Kings team. That is not that far of a reach.

Wow! What a goal! As a fifty year nhl fan I thought it was why I pay big bucks to watch the sport. I'm not worried about easing up on a backup goalie and not trying to score. Rubbing it in? Maybe a bit, but not over the top - clear the benches and go after the guy showboating - by a long shot. But these people are entertainers and I would love to see that goal at Staples! Give him a beatdown next time they play, then thank him for keeping the sport fresh and bringing fans to the rink. Bottom line is I'd do it again, and expect a little grief, what's your take?

Bernier would have saved it
