There were some who were of the opinion that Muller would not leave his job in the Nashville organization. Obviously he wants his shot in the big league. Coaching the 'Canes this season wil certainly be a challenge.

people forget, Maurice CAN coach... i actually wouldn't mind him FAR over Gabby Boudreau's sorry foul-mouthed ass any day.

as an interim coach, his up temp style would be a welcome aid in curing my developing narcolepsy that seems to only happen during Kings games.

Maurice would be a fine coach to replace Murray.

    Boudreau....................not so much...

I guess Muller was available after all. I really wanted him on the Kings. He's going to be a good coach for Carolina. I'd agree with Maurice over BB, but I highly doubt we make a move.

It wasn't that we(I) thought that he wouldn't leave his job in the Nashville organization... it's that I never thought Nashville would let him out of his contract.

Clearly... I was wrong. Really wrong. Loudly wrong.

Teams are usually supportive of guys who have an opportunity for something bigger, especially when it means leaving for the big leagues.

Right... I get that... I just didn't think they'd let a guy go to a competing franchise mid-season... clearly I was wrong.
