    Why? The Flyers beat a Western conference team, the Preds, whom the Kings are trying to catch. Simmonds did the Kings a favor.

    I'm glad Simmonds is doing so well. Schenn isn't doing too bad either. I'd still take Richards any day of the week.

    There is no way in hell Simmonds would have that many goals on the Kings this year. And there's no way in hell Richards wouldn't have more points playing for the Flyers.

    This x100. Richards would be up there right behind Giroux in points, and Simmonds would have about seven goals and 11 assists. Such is the difference playing for a team with awful goaltending that knows it needs to score to win, and a team that builds its entire philosophy around keeping the puck out of its own net at all costs.
