Ducks/Bruins game
Anyone else watching this? It appears to me that the Ducks have called it a season. Ignoring the score, they look like a team that knows it's over - peaking with Scott Niedermayer dropping the gloves with Marc Savard, and Milan Lucic breaking the "code" and pounding Mike Brown after he fell to the ice during a scrap.
Could be an interesting third period - especially if they want to send Lucic a message.

With the score 5=0 Bruins after 2,it should be an interesting and as you mentioned UGLY third period. I wouldn't be suprised if Parros ended up getting a game misconduct. You may also see the Ducks either trading Scotty or Pronger before their next game.

Ducks are likely going to trade at least one of Pronger or Niedermeyer. If I were them I would trade both for as many young assets and picks as they can get.

Yes it will be an eventful third period with a possibility of 3 more fights and a couple game miconducts and supensions.Especially with Parros going bananas out there.

Obviously Kunitz won't be in the game - is Whitney playing?
Edit - I decided to not be lazy and see that his is playing and is a -1 with about 15 mins on the ice after 2. -1 doesn't seem to bad given the score and his ice time. Does this make Pronger more expendable? I'd say so!

Parros in 1 fight, kept is helmet on, didn't do too good with that one.
Next, gets called for holding and pitches a fit because got a penalty. He's totally losing temper tonite.
Nieds even got into a bit of a skirminsh with Savard.
Been like a night at the fights. Bruins totally outplaying Ducks with toughness.
