Since the Ducks suck right now, what you think of J. Hiller, prospect, and a 2nd round pick for Steve Mason?

Just thought I mention to see if that sounded like an even trade.

Hiler by the way hasn't won ANY thing in his young career, yet. As for Steve Mason, he has won for Calder Trophy and getting 10 shutouts in one season in his rookie year. First time that been done since, I BELIEVE, back in 1947 or so.

Hiller has been the only thing keeping them in games so far, he isn't even close to thier biggest problem. Thier D sucks and baldy the captain does some really stupid stuff that keeps costing them games.

Mason can't even post better numbers than Curtis Sanford in Columbus, why would the Ducks give up a better goalie and picks/prospects to get him. Yes, he won a Calder, but he hasn't done anything since. Andrew Raycroft won a Calder too, look how his career turned out...

The Ducks would be the stupidest team in all sports to make a deal like that. Mason is one year away from the NHL where-are-they-now? trivia heap unless he gets his game together.

I'd go with this only if it's a three-way deal involving the Kings and Brown ends up in Columbus. I'll take the prospect.
