Good deal for both sides.

Columbus just got a lot more scary. Granted, they've still got work to do to improve their entire roster, but they've got some real offensive threats that could work amazingly together.

West keeps getting better, at least I hope Richards goes East (or signs with us). LOL someone on Philly board said he's hearing Richards to LA later tonight and sure enough couple of mins later Eklund has Richards potentially traded.

C-Bus and Detroit are rumored to be moving to the East, after next season.

Carter is injury prone and still hasn't played like he should be capable of...we'll see what the change of scenery does. Flyers held on to him and Mike Richards as long as they could. I like them signing Bryzgalov(rumored) for a(rumored) cap hit higher than Kovalchuk's and losing Carter. Bryz has done nothing in the playoffs for Phoenix and it should be interesting to see what kind of goalie he will be in a different system. Once again the Flyers overcompensate and goaltending will make or break them. Life is good.

But yeah, Kings fans...Phoenix might be an easier mark, but CBJ just improved.

Hah...Eklund is claiming Richards will be dealt too. I can't believe Philly would be that stoopid
