I'm of the opinion Kovalchuk wouldn't be having as bad of a season with the Kings, or any other team for that matter.

As far as the Kings go, I would say that's a safe bet. Would he be that proverbial "missing piece" that would have blossomed and turned the Kings into the top team in the league? That's the 100M question.
But let's not lose perspective. Kovi still has ample time to light things up in NJ. I certainly would expect him to have a MUCH better season next year.

Well... what do you guys think about the Devils and their recent playoff push?
I for one don't feel like laughing anymore.

I'm still laughing also. They should be in the top 8 already cuz they're the Devils, but they're not in the top 8. i still like the Devils but this season is pretty sad for them. I laugh at the whole Kovi thing, not really at the Devils.

I just looked at the standings an hour ago, they still got some ground to make up, but if they do happen to make it...then wow. Just incredible.

If they win all of the rest of their games (25) they'll have 100 points.
20-5 gives them 90.
If they can win 20+ of their last 25, they have a good chance.
Otherwise, it's been a nice push lately.
