I'm still thinking Chicago. They have roster players to trade and Cup aspirations this season. Too perfect.

How sad, I'm hitting refresh on here, TSN & Bob McKenzie's twitter page...
you absolutely do not know that. the East is a mess and who knows if they don't play a lot better after losing the distraction. Much like the Kings after losing Rob Blake went on a big run. If they get two good pieces, like Boston did when they sold us Jason Allison...they can still make it. Not saying they will, especially without seeing what they get back. But it ain't certain they'll miss the playoffs by any stretch.
Don't forget Dreger's twitter. He did a good job this weekend.

Although without McKenzie's tweets, I wouldn't have seen the news about Hitchcock being canned.
I REALLLY dont think the Hawks will be going for Kovy... they will have to give up assets to get him and if he tries to sign an extension, not sure the Hawks would be able to afford that...
I mean, Kane, Toews, Huet, Hossa, Keith, Campbell, Sharp, Seabrook are NOT CHEAP to keep around
The Kings aren't desperate?? Have you been a fan for more than half a season? Wow, the Kings string together a few wins and all of a sudden we don't need a superstar in town.
Kovy is the most productive player over the past 4 season. Period. Chemistry doesn't mean anything when you can get a guy that can score on literally any shift.
The Kings and Los Angeles are desperate for a winner on the ice. We haven't won a playoff series in god knows how long, and we are "this close" to being legit.
Sorry boys, but Simmonds isn't the answer. He may have the moniker of Black Gretzky but we all know how far Simmonds can carry the team. Maybe from one side of the ice to the other.
Deano needs to step up, and land Kovy. ATL can have Schenn, Simmonds, prospects, heck.. even throw em Frolov for the Russian fans in ATL. We are desperate for a winner. We are desperate for a STAR PLAYER that will bring non-hockey fans into Staples.
I am calling it like I did when this all started, Kovi will not be a King when this is all said and done. And once we see the return, I think we will all be glad that he isn't.
