I've seen very little evidence of any of this in my watching of Thrashers games for the past 3+ years. His captaincy, to this point, has seen arguably the best stretch of hockey the Thrashers have seen in their entire sad existence.

you spend that much time losing and i guarantee you'd start thinking about how easy it can be to go back to something you easily abandoned when you were a kid.

i mentioned a couple of years ago that i'd love to get Kovalchuk BEFORE he became Alexei Yashin and just didn't give a s*** anymore.

can you really blame him? Atlanta has taken more away from him than they've ever given him.

we're just having fun speculating on what we think would be necessary to even make a trade for a talent like that in the situation he's in.

i don't think any of us believes it's gonna happen. personally i'm still holding to the notion that Patrick Marleau will be wearing a Kings jersey next season.

I don't know what type of guy he is in the locker room, but Kovalchuk always plays with A LOT of intensity. That part of his game is something that I think DL could be very attracted to.

Please, please can I has Kovalchuk? He does not take games off, and can you imagine how potent our offense would be with him. Heck it would move Smyth down to the second line with Stoll giving that line some better offense. I like Brown, but I say do it unless it includes the names of DD or Kopi. Brown, Frolov and Teubert - I say do it!
