But in this case, Williams $3.5 mill would be off the books, so the Kings would really only be taking on $4 mill instead of a $6+ mill contract PLUS Williams' $3.5 mill. So really it's $4 mill versus $9.5+ mill.

I think it is a 99.9% chance this is what will happen.

Like I said before I put no stock in where Kovy said he was going to retire. He signed a 17 year contract with them, what else was he going to say?
