Other contracts have a couple years at around a million a piece.
Kovlachuk's has several years at league minimum.
Specifically, one year at $750K then five years at $550K.
About time the NHL does something about these long term contracts.
This really showa what a tool Bettman is. We all knew how this contract was going to look. He waits three weeks to do something? I feel this is a warning shot more than anything. I fail to see how the league can prove this.
