This is exactly what will happen. Like I said earlier too and am still sticking with it, that Kovi and Devils will re-work a new contract pretty quickly. He will NOT be going anywhere but NJ and he does NOT want to play for LA.

I was baffled that they would even attempt such a bold claim. I mean, who really had a source next to the arbitrator? We all new they were full of it. I couldn't believe NHL sources was dumb enough to tweet what they did. LOL!

It kinda makes TOO much sense...

If that happens this will go down in history as the 2nd day the Kings got worse by acquiring a top end player. I just don't see how Kovalchuk would justify the co$t for what he can provide.
