If this thing goes south, what are the odds, that the PA instructs its players not to report and go on strike...didn't something like that happen in 92'?

I know there may be some out there in LGK land that think two months have been wasted on this topic. I am not one of them. The past two months have educated me more on the inner workings of the NHL, NHLPA, and arbritration than at any other point since the lockout. As a Kings fan I have generally paid attention to my team and whatever random nugget of info on other teams I would get from the Times, (until finding LGK). These past two months may seem brutal if you are one who really wanted Kovy or got Kovy, (sorry jerseydevil) and lost him again and now wait in limbo. Not cool, agreed. But how many people now know how the system works? The system, like many other systems is not perfect; but now it is being worked on and hopefully it is repaired in time to save hockey from itself.
the not cool part is perpetuated in part by his own team's management. not just the big bad NHL. and I'm far from a Bettman apologist.

Are the league and the NHLPA circumventing the CBA? (hint: if the reports are true, the answer is yes) - Jewels From The Crown
Here's yet another interesting opinion on all the speculation and heresay that we have been fed so far.![]()
I haven't read the article yet, but based on the title, if the only two parties in a legally binding agreement, mutually decide on changes/amendments to the original contract, what's the issue? Not trying to start anything. Just wondering what potential legal issues that creates.
