LGK Log- Day ?

Just came to. Need to get out of my disguise. First of all found it hard to travel from post to post without stopping to look at my chest in the mirrors and windows of the car ads. Secondly ran into this icon . They seemed like nice guys at first but now I think they put something in my drink and there are parts of my body that hurt that should not hurt. The thread has started to veer from its course of talk of the Chosen One. The poster known as CBGB has apparently been granted a reprieve from the ones known as the Mods. Cheers went up throughout the thread that he was back even though he brought tidings of dire consequences. There is now talk of a demon that is coming to the Kings, I fear for the locals that I have come to watch on a daily basis. If a demon is indeed coming in the next couple of days it could spell the end of LGK forever. Perhaps the LGKers angered the Mystic known as Poo Slinger,(my bad,check that it was a d-man). The lack of info on the Chosen One has caused some of the, (assuming male, but would be cool if they were female as well) posters to resort to visual aids in the form of scantily clad females, and talk of a pilgrimage to a far away land to mate with one of said females is also making the rounds. I wish them luck, and good hunting. The drinks given to me by have made me even wonder if I am indeed married with children; dog is still a no show. Will stick with wearing a disguise, have changed into this .

I'm fascinated. DL is "lowballing" or "nickel and dime-ing" for Kaberle, but does anyone know what the offer is?

Yeah, what is this "lowballing" bull****? Does nobody remember him offering more money to Chara than Boston, but Chara not wanting to come out here? Or his attempt to get Hossa?

Remember, offering less is not the same thing.

Have you also noticed that all of the players that Lombardi has "overpaid" were short term contracts?

Ok, I guess it's better to overpay short term for a average/good player than a star long term. I'm not being sarcastic.

I dunno 6.5 was offered for Kovi when we payed how much for Smyth and how much for Kopi? It's all relative. I just thought we'd overpay and actually get a gem for once-well long term that is.

To be honest though, Kovi and his agent have truly over valued their goods looking around the league vs. Crosby, Ovi, ya know-leader types.

In a time of recession I wouldn't mind seeing Kovi freezing his arse back in Rusky land, earning his 10mil if he doesn't end up signing in LA (Loooooonnng shot). Plus, someone was saying that Grossman won't get his comission if he signs to KHL...is this right? I wouldn't mind Grossman becoming an example to seedy agents, circumventing the cap to squeeze every last drop out of a team.

it still makes no sense. he overpays some people, yet he will lowball some people, but his reputation is overpaying...no, its lowballing.

what exactly IS his reputation in your mind? you should write it down on paper, you'll be amazed what beliefs you have been clinging to that might not make sense.

6.5 for Kovy is based on his later years with lower salary.

6.8? for Anze is based through some of his PRIME years.

and Smyth? what contract did Dean sign him to?

so is he an overpayer, or a lowballer?
