Not trying to be argumentive, but your original post referenced not wanting to help the Devils get under the cap, which my argument is; if it helps the Kings become a better team, who cares how it helps the devils.
I would not be suprised at all to see Parise hit open market, especially if the Devils end up with higher cap hit on Kovy, but my point is, I would rather have a guy like him, than Kovy.
Salvador isn't my first choice either, I agree on that.
There is no way Lou wold get Voinov and Jones for Salvador, when HE is the one that needs cap relief. DL can find the equivalent of Salvador without giving up those kinds of assets. Think more like a draft pick that's not a 1st or 2nd rounder.

I am highly embarrassed. After wearing my latest disguise ofI got the munchies and wondered off into another thread last night. Before I left I think I upset the balance of the other thread, the all day smoking and punishment received from the Mods, (seriously someone could have helped out in the "what is an elephant walk" department) left me with an unclear head and got me in trouble with some of the posters of that thread,(Sorry). The thread seems to be teetering, it will appear strong one moment and the next it seems ready to fade away and split into other threads. The fate of the Chosen One has yet to be decided but many other names are thrown out in anticipation if the Chosen One were to head elsewhere. Up to this point the Mystic and his minion known as CBGB have been in hiding, this is ususally followed by an announcement of some sort relating to things that might happen sometime or not in the near future. Yesterday while writing about the thread I mentioned something about my observations and putting in my two cents from what I have learned from the thread. I kept it brief but feel I should add more. There are many posters of the thread with great responses, whether they are about the Chosen One or not. Point- counterpoints add to the diversity of the thread and it helps fellow posters to see both sides of the coin. It is becoming apparent that not all posters agree with each other but do share the common thread of rooting for the same team. This thread will die one day but the posters will continue on to voice their opinions in other threads whether one agrees with them or not they will all be King fans! The Chegg.com banner looks like a good blind to hide out in for the day. And yes, family is out there somewhere, hope they bring back sandwiches.
