    i'm sure this isn't awesome, interesting news or anything, but i lol'd thinking of how many times bailey's annoyed some people. (for the record, he's cool with me because my kid loves him. )

    Not that I condone a mascot spraying someone with anything but the Boston fan who got sprayed reacted like a total a-hole.

    no disrespect to the school, but that mascot is retarded. of all the half time shows i had to watch when i went to USC games, the SC/standford match ups yielded the worst.

    haha. i agree, but i don't think it's totally unpredictable coming from a boston or NY fan. they won't take that kind of crap!

    what's funny to me is this chick makes a living off being a mascot and she's been fired twice now. whattalife!

    You all can call me a curmudgeon all you want but I've seen some behavior by certain mascots that ranges from the mildly obnoxious to the potentially injurious.

    Maybe that fan reacted poorly....... but who the hell wants to be pestered by some ******* in a costume when they paid to watch a hockey game?

    I remember going to Salt Lake City for a Steelheads/Grizzlies matchup and having their mascot giving me a hard time in my Idaho gear, I took it in stride and laughed it off. Not a fan of the dumping the popcorn/having silly string sprayed towards me though.
