Vote for Lubo!
**** the ducks.
That was just 4 years ago... Amazing how far this team has come since that was made.
Earlier today on Monday, Lubo signed with his home club Slovan Bratislava for one month to play in the KHL. (Ziggy declined the offer last week.) Lubo will play his first game on Saturday against Omsk.
Tonight, Slovan defeated a top KHL team, SKA Petersburg, 4-2 thanks to another genius clutch GWG by Miro Satan*. I was watching it from row 13. What a great all-round day for Slovan fans.

Lubo scores GWG & is given the best-player award in his first game played since the concussion in April.
The goal is shown at 2:54. Another beauty by Satan at 0:40. Lubo said he was looking forward to playing against Frolov, the Omsk captain, but it appears Frolov is injured because he did not play tonight at all.

More commotion around Lubo, him saying tonight he'd prefer to finish his season in the KHL instead of starting another (late) season with the Islanders:

Islander fans going berserk over there.
Lubo's agent was on couple of days ago on NHL XM Radio and said that Lubo has ben traded three times since signing a contract with a NO TRADE CLAUSE and that the new CBA addresses the loop holes. I guess thanks to Dean Lombardi on structuring that contract but I feel bad for Lubo
LA Kings getting a lot of flak on message boards because of this. Lubo doesn't want to return, and KHL president Medvedev gave Lubo a call yesterday to assure him he has the KHL's support. The other player supposedly mulling no return to the NHL is Kovalchuk.
