While I was never a huge fan of him (his game, not him personally) I don't understand this whole scenario. If his contract had a no-trade clause wouldn't have have been an issue BEFORE he was traded? I must have been brought up by Murray at some point. Then again, if Lubo was asked by the Ducks and allowed it the trade then I can't see how he can have a "do over". This is kind of a strange situation.

yes, but the problem is, this makes yet another time he's complained when something didn't go his way. the only time he didn't say a damn thing was when he was allowed to return from Siberia... i mean, who WOULD complain about being traded from Edmonton... well, other than Ryan Smyth's sorry ass.

supposedly this limited no trade clause doesnt kick in till the 5th year of the contract. He was traded at the draft which was before the 5th year kicked in. Not sure how anything will come of it.
