Thread: NHL Approves 4 Division/Conference Alignment

They are calling it conference but it makes more sense in terms of "division" if you ask me.

NHL approves new four-conference format for next season

Actual teams and playoff formats to be announced soon.

Thoughts?

1) 30 doesn't divide into 4 so how is that going to work?

2) Supposed to be better for tv times and travel but if it does involve a home and home with every team then
I think teams will actually travel more

3) apparently most everyone in the west was in favor of this idea by Bettman. I think it could work
