Default NHL GM's Behind the moves

Saw Freidman's blog post today plugging this book

Priced at $100, if anyone picks it up please post a review if it's worth the pricetag. Some of the content sounds amazing and I'm a bit of a bibliophile but I hate oversize books with a passion.

    I found this very interesting:

When the Anaheim Ducks beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 on May 22, 2007, a milestone was reached. With that win, Brian Burke became the 50th NHL General Manager to guide his team to the Stanley Cup Finals. Yet in 84 years of NHL history, only 32 GMs have won the Stanley Cup as a GM, and only 21 since 1967 expansion! Burke is one.
Am I correct in saying that the number of GMs that have won a Stanley Cup now stands at 25 since the 1967 expansion? I think that it was the first for the GM of the last four Stanley Cup Champions, and Dean Lombardi is now one of them.

Kind of shows how impatient teams are with their GMs these days, and how the era of dynasties is over.
