oh ya, he was talking about it on HNIC after hours. apparently, the eyes are a bit too beady according to him. he mentioned the kings bobblehead of him had better/more "flow" (geez, i hate that word, but all the players use it). he did say nice things about all the places he'd played in between his departure and return to edmonton (the isles, colorado, LA). he said that in the end, now that his kids are all starting to be school age, him and his wife just really wanted them to grow up in edmonton, which feels most like home to him and his family.
they showed a clip of him the first time he was on HNIC during his first stint in edmonton and his wife and oldest daughter came on the set. she was 3 mo.s old at the time and sooooo adorable. then his wife and daughter came on again this past weekend and she's 8 now. he said she was still just as adorable or something like that. nice interview.
oh and he cried. well, actually they showed a clip of him crying during the canadian national anthem during an oilers game. dude is a softie!
