Oilers are also dumping a former 1st round (15th overall) draft pick in Nilsson and their current captain, Moreau. That is a team in complete disarray.

Sure happy Lombardi didn't go for Moreau at the deadline last year.

I learned something new about waivers and buyouts today listening to Leafs Lunch.

If a guy is put on waivers with his "regular" price (a sliding scale of $3,375 to $90,000 in the CBA), he IS NOT buyout eligible.

If he's put on waivers for $125.00, he IS buyout eligible.

Sully has been placed on waivers by Edmonton. I guess Dean knew what he was doing.

Does Manchester need more scoring?

Yep, he sure is. Glad to have a couple of forums to read about a non-King.

He was probably the worst regular on the worst team in the NHL last year.

Which is too bad. I hope he gets another shot and figures it out.
