Kariya was the enemy, never did care for him & tinkerbell.
But even my desdain for his diving ways can't prevent me from condemning the cheap shot from Suter.

I don't think Kariya was ever quite the same after that. It was the begining of the end.

For his career the Suter hit was far more destructive then the Stevens hit. He really never was the same player after that hit.
Sure he's a Duck, but ya gotta like it when a little guy makes it big in the NHL. I just love guys like Kariya and Theo Fleury who proved night after night that you don't have to be as big as Chara to play in the league. Gotta give a kid like Justin Azevedo hope.
Here's hoping Paul has a long and normal life outside the game.
Honestly I can't help but like the guy. I hope he keeps going to the doc and they study the **** out of his brain. For all the damage he took he can help a lot of people to understand just what the heck happens to a brain especially considering his was actually charted from a relatively young age.
Those two hits and the one on Kozlov in '95 always stood out to me.
