    Default Penguins Win the Cup (EASports Simulation)

    EA Sports did their annual season simulation using the NHL 12 sim engine. And the Penguins beat the Hawks in 6 to win the cup. The Kings ended up in Fifth place in the West and in second in the Pacific. Though the Kings did not win their division nor did they win the Cup, they did finally make it out of the first round, beating the Red Wings in Six. However, they were bounced in the second round. They lost in game seven against the Canucks. Anze Kopitar was fifth in scoring with 29 goals and 96 points. Obviously they didn't have Scott Parse on his wing.
