I don't think Kings17 is bitter that IK is a Devil and not a King...I think we're all irritated at the fiasco this created and the mockery that came with it...We all thought that it was completely insane for Lebron to have to make an announcement about where he decided to play on nationally TV, overlly dramatic ect. I think this whole thing with IK made a mockery out of the NHL the NHLPA and the media, this whole situation was rediculous, nad hearing IK say numerous times that it wasn't about the money, but the right fit...then why was so difficult to sign a contract, he was stuck on getting his 100 million dollars, and to me, that just makes him down right greedy. I mean honestly, without saying there's a 20million dollar difference between 80mil and 100mil, would his quality of life really be different had signed an 80mil deal and 100mil deal. If you answer yes you need to take a long look in the mirrior, becuase if you will the difference will lessen the quality of life, then why not ask for 120mil...

Not bitter necessarily, but after all this BS and the cap circumvention that has now been allowed on this kontrakt just so the Bettman can bend the NHLPA over one more time, why would any NHL fan outside of NJ be rooting for the Devils to win anything?

No offense to jerseydevil, who is by all accounts a good dude, but the whining on all sides has been nauseating to say the least. I'm just glad this crap is over.
