(sorry, it's open now)
So, do the rest of the dominoes finally fall? NJ, Philly, Van, and a few others need to shed salary.
:woot:
Well let's see what happens with teams helping the Devils get under the cap now. Lou is in a pickle and there probably aren't any teams that will take a salary dump like Rolston because he doesn't have enough to sweetener to add to the deal. All the sweeteners went in the first Kovalchuk deal. Hell, even Zubrus is overpaid for what he brings to the table.
Cue the Elias to Kings rumors now. Not sure I want him though given the length remaining on his deal. Here's hoping Kovalchuk never wins a damn thing in New Jersey.
i'LL believe it when it is officially announced. And Kings17 I repeat...bitter much?
I can't wait to hear what changes have been made to the rules that govern long term contracts.
If what Kyper says is true, this may be a win for the NHL PA.

"All that's happened is clubs can no longer use age 41 and over to reduce the cap hit. And how many current guys in PA will play past 40?"
