I'm kind of getting tired of the incessant love-fest for Douglas Murray and Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

The Sharks blueline is still VERY average.

Drew Remenda isn't much of an improvement over Hayward. In this series, volume off is the only option.

For the sake of not being stuck watching this series in SD, I hope the Sharks take it...

The only problem is,Marleau does well in the regular season, but disappears in the playoffs. Even though this is the first game,he like Thornton was AWOL. I would much rather see DL sign someone else.

Anybody hear the rumor that the Sharks are thinking of moving to Kansas City?

Doug Murray is just a slightly swifter Denis Gauthier and Vlasic is just decent.

i agree that they are VERY average

really? i think Remenda is one of the best color guys in the game. but then again i don't have a real problem with Haywire either... i find them both infinitely more entertaining than Jim Fox as well.

to Marleau's defense, he's had only one really poor playoff series a couple of years ago against Detroit. i thought he played well last year despite his numbers.

Disappears? I don't know if I'd go that far. 87 career playoff games 35 goals. Is that really all that bad?

He's 29 years old and he's got a lot of hockey left in him. Marleau Centering a line of Frolov and Dustin Brown would not be a bad thing.

Sharks losing to the Ducks in this series means the Ducks get the Wings in the next round. How could that be a bad thing for us?
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.
