One more then Brown. He also had a better offensive year not playing a full season then has ever had. He was the #2 pick after Crosby for a reason.

Oh Pronger absolutely blew that play but Getzlaf was there and he saw that Cleary was waiting on the door step. Had Getzlaf tied up Cleary's stick or even put his stick in the path of Cleary's shot, instead of trying push Cleary out of the way, there's a very distinct possibility that Cleary does not get enough mustard on that shot to score the goal. I believe the Dustin Brown detractors refer to that type of play as lacking in hockey sense.
Making the correct snap decision on a blown coverage is what separates the very good from the great and in the biggest game of the year on the biggest stage, Getzlaf was given the chance to shine and he reverted to his instinct, brawn over brains. Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Crosby, to a man, tie up Cleary's stick if they are in that situation without a second thought. That's why they are great two-way players and why Getzlaf is a very good offensive player who likes to hit.
See Bandit. No worries.
The Ducks were completely outplayed by Detroit in that series and they were lucky to get to a game 7. Not enough depth on the Ducks to pull off that upset.
Meh, in my opinion the scores were closer than the actual play. The Red Wings dominated territorially in every game.
The Ducks didn't have the same depth and secondary scoring, and that's why they couldn't advance. If they were playing a lesser team, maybe, but it was a series that where I always felt Detroit was in control.
