Against a much, much weaker and less experienced team than the Ducks. But I get your point. The Wings will score, I just think the Ducks will score more on Osbad.

I can't believe there are those who think this series will end in 4 or 5 games. Is it possible? Oh yeah. It is not very likely though. It is going to be a war. If the Ducks stay disciplined, they have a very good chance of winning. If they keep allowing as many shots against as in the SJ series, they are in trouble. Hossa, Datsyuk, etc are pure goal scorers.

I don't think the comparisos of Pronger to Rafalski are very good. Pronger is a monster. I know everyone hates him and that is fine, but he is good wherever he is. Niedermayer blew my mind in the SJ series. Even Roenick said the guy never even looks like he is trying and yet he is untouchable.

Marchant is one of the best face off guys in the league, that will be another factor.

    Coaching is pretty equal.

I say Ducks in 6, but that is because I want them to win. I think in the back of my mind I am thinking Wings in 7. In the end, the offensive talent of the Wings four lines will wear down the Ducks.

The bottom line is, the Wings will capitalize where the Sharks failed to. It's that simple. The better team wins, Wings in 6.

Watti makes a good point. The Sharks controlled large segments of nearly every game they played against the Ducks but they could not capitalize. The Red Wings have that killer instinct that the Sharks lack.

If any team can shutdown the Ryan/Getzlaf/Perry line, the Red Wings can. The onus then falls on Teemu's line to finally show up. If Teemu gets hot the Ducks will probably take the series in 7. If not, the Ducks don't have the firepower to take this series beyond 5.

This is going to be a helluva series to watch.

With Holmstrom on the ice, Hiller will be lucky if he even gets a look at that puck.
